Alien vs. Predator (Atari Jaguar): Karten

Ich möchte cheaten, aber nur ein bisschen...

Sicher, sicher, diese Seite kommt »etwas« spät...
Die Atari Jaguar-Version von Alien vs. Predator (AvP) ist etwa 18 Jahre alt und wird sicherlich nicht mehr oft gespielt; schon gar nicht von Leuten, die das Spiel noch nicht kennen...
Trotzdem, als alter Fan dieses Spiels – es gab vorher und nachher kein Computer-/Konsolenspiel, was mir so viel Spaß gemacht hat – konnte ich einfach nicht anders...

Hier biete ich Euch Karten des Spiels – Karten der diversen Sublevels und der Luftschächte, des Alien- und des Predator-Schiffs.
Aber was unterscheidet »meine« Karten von denen, die man eh schon zigfach im Web findet?
Die anderen Karten verraten alles, also auch die Lage der Waffen und Security Cards; und verderben somit schon einen guten Teil des Spaßes.

Die hier präsentierten Karten verraten weniger – mit Ausnahme des »CheatModeSets«.
Aber seht selbst...

Das »MereOrientationSet« zeigt wirklich nur die Grundrisse der Sublevels und Schiffe. Keinerlei erklärende Texte geben Informationen preis, die man evtl. noch gar nicht haben möchte.

Das »SomeInformationSet« verrät die Lage der Computer, benennt Bereiche (»Med-Labs«, »Armoury«...), bezeichnet die Luftschächte etc. Die Lage der einzelnen Waffen und Security Cards sind hingegen nicht verzeichnet.

Das »CheatModeSet« verrät alles!
Hier sind auch die Waffen und Security Cards eingezeichnet. Für alle, die zu faul sind, selbst zu suchen.
Dieses Set verdirbt den Spaß am Spiel – ehrlich!

Ich will es ganz klar und eindeutig sagen:
Ich habe diese Karten nicht angefertigt!
Ich weiß nicht, wer die Originale (die dem CheatModeSet entsprechen) angefertigt hat – dieser Person bin ich aber auf ewig dankbar. Ich habe lediglich einige Informationen aus den Karten entfernt, woraus das MereOrientationSet und das SomeInformationSet resultierten.

 
 
 

Alien vs. Predator (Atari Jaguar): Maps

I'd like to cheat, but only a little bit...

Yes, I know: The Atari Jaguar version of Alien vs. Predator (AvP) is about 18 years old and most likely nobody needs any maps anymore...
but since I love this game so much I provide some maps anyway.

Of course there have been maps available on the web for years, but "my" maps are a little different: The other maps show everything, e.g. where you find all the weapons and security cards. Thus, they spoil a lot of fun.
The maps you find here don't show that much. But see for yourself...

The »MereOrientationSet« shows the layout of the sublevels, the air ducts, the predator ship and the alien ship.
You'll find no additional information there.

THe »SomeInformationSet« shows where you find the computer terminals and will name some areas ("Med-Labs", "Armoury"...) as well as the air ducts.
Still, this set will not show you where to find weapons or security cards.

Who's the author?

It wasn't me who drew the maps.
I don't know who did but I'm eternally thankful that he (or she) did.
I just deleted some parts of the original maps (= the CheatModeSet) to build the MereOrientationSet and the SomeInformationSet.
